Ági Mezösi [agi mézeuchi] was born the 27th of Febuary in Esztergom, Hungary. After completing high school at German National School of Budapest Ági attended the department of jewelers at the Budapest School of Arts for three years. In 1995 Ági undertook a two year program at the Trade School of Budapest and now holds a Goldsmith diploma. For three years she worked in a work shop in Hungary’s capital city where she honed her skills with different materials, - gold and silver in particular.
After having experimented with etching acrylic filigree on silver, she started exploring new materials such as wood, plastic and semi-precious stones.
Ági moved to the Swiss Alps in the year 2000. There she met Cristina Philippoz with whom she started the brand Perlimpinpin. The concept of Perlimpinpin was to celebrate the marriage of glass and silver.
In 2004, Ági and Sandra Jaccoud crossed paths. Under the new label of Perlipop the two of them decided to explore new horizons of creation together. Since spring 2005 they have parted ways. Ági now manages Perlipop bringing together the work of some of the best glass artists in Switzerland and abroad.
